A new chapter begins at Northcrest as titles land

The release of land titles for Stage 1A of the Top End’s newest premiere address today will provide a green light on new residential construction. Halikos Group Managing Director Shane Dignan is excited that owners can now commence building their new homes at Northcrest.

“With over fifty per cent of the first stage already sold it is great to think that we will soon see a hive of activity on site and that Northcrest is set to develop into a new residential address in the Top End. “Stage 1A roads, bike and footpaths are now complete providing recent purchasers or prospective buyers an opportunity to view the streetscape and get a feel for this new community,” Mr Dignan said.

“We welcome people to come in and have a look. The release of the titles also means that our display builders will commence construction and our sales office will be relocated to Northcrest.” The Halikos Group is working with a number of Territory builders to ensure that an array of home designs are available to meet individual needs at every stage of life, from first home buyer through to retiree.

Northcrest will see a progressive release of land over the next 12 years including 2000 lots for housing options and a further 40 sites available for medium density development. The project will provide a major economic stimulus to Darwin and the Top End, creating up to 3200 local employment opportunities over the life of the project and becoming home to up to 7500 Territorians.

“As a master planned community, in the heart of Darwin, this development will cater to a modern lifestyle, including a school, an exciting retail precinct, plenty of parklands and open space and ultimately places to work.”

Stage 1A of Northcrest, will include a variety of display homes.. The lots will range in size from 474sqm to 770sqm, with the majority of the lots being 550sqm and 650sqm.
