Merry Christmas to the Salvation Army

In the weeks leading up to Christmas the staff at the Halikos Group have been collecting toys and food at each of their companies, last week the collection was delivered to the Salvation Army’s Anula branch in a convoy of cars, utilities and trucks.  Amongst the collection was up to 38 childrens bikes and up to 30 baskets of toys and teenagers presents.  Independent Grocers at East Arm also donated 8 pallets of goods including water, chocolate, christmas puddings and household goods this was collected by our Steeline GRP Semi Trailer and delivered on the same day as the group collection.

As a group the Halikos staff make an enormous difference every year to those not so fortunate Territorians and help deliver a little Christmas Cheer.  Many thanks to our managers and their staff members. In particular Pam Gross and her driver Luke Whiting from Steeline Construction, plus Sure Thing Couriers who delivered some of the goods for free.

Special mention to the Halikos Construction Team for the truck load of bikes and food, you are just a small team but have big hearts.  Hopefully we set the challenge for all of the Halikos Companies to out do Construction next year.
