Halikos Role: Design/Builder for $79m Project

Winner of both the National and local  2013 Master Builders Association Excellence Award in Commercial Construction $50-$100m and Excellence in Residential Construction Over 5 Dwellings

This project involved the demolition of 61 existing high set homes on the Barracks and replacing these with 98 new high set homes with high energy efficiency ratings. Of the 61 residences, 2 were demolished and 58 that were scheduled for demolition were removed as a whole from site and temporarily located by Halikos. Those buildings were made available for sale to the public. This strategy significantly reduced the amount of waste with approximately 95% of the existing buildings being re-used/recycled. Halikos was also contracted to undertake significant services to infrastructure upgrade works.
