    Founder John Halikos serves as the Director of the Halikos Group. John has expanded the Group over 30 years into property management, development, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, retail and investment focusing on the Northern Territory.

    Managing Director

    Shane Dignan serves as the Managing Director of the Halikos Group. He has over 30 years experience in construction and development industry. Shane is also the President of the UDIA NT and is a member of the Darwin Major Business and Darwin Major Contractors Groups. Shane is a strong advocate for the Territory and is committed to buying locally, employing locally and reinvesting back into the NT.

    Regan Anderson joined the Halikos Group as Halikos Developments General Manager in 2008. Regan has achieved nearly 40 year’s experience in Property Development and Construction, primarily focusing on high rise developments locally in recent time and Brisbane prior to 2008 with Australand.

    Regan’s Development Team includes experienced Project Managers, Design Managers, Site Managers, Contract Administrators, Document Controllers, Foremen along with a dedicated on site Safety Advisor and Administration support.

    Since leaving the Halikos Group back in 2010, Lachlan went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) at RMIT University in Melbourne. During this time he spent one year studying abroad in the USA at University of Maryland (UMD) College Park. Lachlan then commenced with national Tier 1 builder Probuild Construction Australia based in Melbourne. Lachlan re-joined the Halikos Group as the Developments Project Coordinator in the middle of 2017.

  • Chris Giannikouris

    Chris Giannikouris

    General Manager

    Chris joined the Halikos Group in 2005. He was educated in the Northern Territory and has spent the past 20 years in the field of Project and Design Management. He has been a project leader on a number of major projects particularly for the Department of Defence and the Northern Territory Government. From 2002 to 2005 Chris participated as a member on the board of the Territory Construction Association, the peak commercial construction body in the Northern Territory.

    Chris’s managerial experience has equipped him with the skills to view issues at a senior management level. He has honed his ability to focus on those issues critical to project success including management of both complex construction and varied human resource issues, leading to all projects Chris having worked on being completed to the date for Contract Practical Completion.

    Commercial Manager

    Matthew has been involved in the construction industry for more than 30 years and has gained experience in a multitude of core management areas.  Engaged by the Halikos Group 2005 he is now Halikos Construction’s Commercial Manager and he leads their administration team being directly responsible for all procurement and administration management of Halikos construction projects in Darwin.

    During Matthew’s time with the group he has implemented strong cost control and administration systems ensuring all monthly milestones and contractual obligations are met. Successful management of key projects such as the Royal Darwin Hospital Expansion, Rosebery School and Henbury Special School has led to the construction team successfully completing all projects on time and on budget.  Matthew’s major focus is on building strong, open and consultative client contractor relationships and imparts the same culture throughout Halikos Construction’s management team.

    Darren has 26 years experience in the roofing industry which is invaluable when providing strong leadership and direction to his dedicated team.
    He joined the Halikos Group in 1992 and became Manager of Halikos Roofing in 2004.

    Darren has extensive experience in both roofing structures in cyclonic regions and in working at height.

    Licensee and Commercial Property Manager

    Kristy joined Halikos in 2010 and has worked within the real estate industry since 2001. Kristy leads a team of dedicated property managers, maintenance officers and admin staff who work to provide the highest level of customer service to our clients. Kristy oversees both residential and commercial portfolios including NT Government Properties division, relating to leasing and management.

    General Manager

    Geoff Weeks was appointed General Manager of Halikos Hospitality in March 2011. Since joining the Group, Geoff has been a key player in the rapid growth of the portfolio from 230 hotel rooms to today having an inventory of over 1100 hotel rooms and serviced apartments. Prior to 2011, Geoff was with the Mantra Group as Regional General Manager North Queensland overseeing General Managers of 14 properties from Mackay to Port Douglas. Geoff has many years experience at senior management level working for a number of prestigious properties around Australia.

    To honour his dedication to the local industry, Geoff is a Commissioner on the Tourism NT Board and is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and graduate of the Company Directors Course.
