Halikos Construction was established to meet the growing demand for commercial building construction in the Northern Territory, and has completed a number of major building projects. Our innovative approach to finding solutions for challenging projects, combined with the ability to deliver on time, on budget and to quality standards, has led to many award-winning projects.
Darwin Middle School, 2008
Halikos role: Design/Construct $25.3m project
Works commenced wet season 2006, with the first concrete pour in Feb 2007. Stage 1 and Stage 2 were delivered ahead of schedule for the start of the 2008 school year.
Halikos engaged local consultants and subcontractors and was well advanced on RFT design during the tender period. When the project was awarded, the developed design was immediately submitted for review resulting in the earliest possible commencement of work.
NAB House Fitout Floors 2 - 6, 2007
Halikos role: Builder $5.6m project
Office fitout of Levels 2-6 for NT Government Departments: Lands & Mapping; and Police Fire & Emergency Services. Included all works associated with the complete fitout including: base mechanical, electrical & communication services; internal partitioning & ceilings; carpets, fittings and fixtures.

PowerWater Corporate Headquarters Fitout 2006
Halikos role: Builder $7.0m project
The fitout of the new PowerWater corporate headquarters consisted of three main areas: fitout of level 6 & 7 offices; fitout of the ground level retail shop; and base building works for Level 1 & 2 offices.
